EMPLOYMENT
Madigan's career began at Boomtown Casino, where he served as the Director of Finance from November 2000 to June 2008. In this role, he developed his financial management skills and made significant contributions to the casino's financial strategies.
Following his tenure at Boomtown Casino, Madigan assumed the position of CFO at Casino Del Sol, where he served from July 2008 to July 2011. His financial expertise played a pivotal role in the success of the property.
Madigan's career progression continued as he became the CFO at Maryland Live! Casino, serving from July 2011 to June 2013. During this period, he contributed to the financial stability and growth of the casino.
In June 2013, Madigan assumed the role of President and GM at Miami Jai Alai Casino, where he led the property through a critical phase, leveraging his strategic acumen and gaming industry knowledge.
From July 2014 to August 2016, Madigan served as Assistant GM at Mountaineer Casino Racetrack & Resort, contributing to the property's operational success.
Madigan's journey into strategic leadership led him to the role of Corporate VP of Strategy and Business Development at Seneca Gaming Corporation from September 2016 to March 2018. In this capacity, he spearheaded crucial initiatives aimed at enhancing operations and facilitating expansion within the gaming industry.
Before assuming his current role, Madigan served as the GM at Paragon Casino Resort, a property under the Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment umbrella, from April 2018 to June 2021. Here, he achieved remarkable success, including a notable turnaround and various strategic initiatives.
In August 2021, Jody Madigan embarked on his current role as COO at Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. As COO, he plays a central role in driving operational excellence and leadership within the gaming and hospitality industry, overseeing strategic business plans and ensuring the organisation's growth and success.
