MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

David's achievements are underscored by her executive experience in leading and growing large consumer-facing businesses. Currently serving as a Non-executive and Independent Director for Bacardi, Domino’s Pizza and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, she has demonstrated her adaptability across diverse sectors. 

Between 2003 and today, David’s combined experience in Non-executive and Independent Director roles spans over 45 years. She also spent 15 years with Bacardi in both Director and executive positions. 

EMPLOYMENT

David’s first notable position was at Bacardi, joining the company in 1999. Her position as Regional President saw her oversee the company’s business in different countries and territories. She held this position for five years, before moving into her role SVP and CMO from 2005 to 2009. 

Between 2003 and today, Stella has been a Non-executive Director at seven different companies, with her tenures often overlapping. Her first Non-executive Director role was at the Nationwide Building Society, the UK's second-largest mortgage and savings provider, from 2003 to 2010. 

David has held roles as a Non-executive Director at HomeServe Plc since November 2010 and C&J Clark Ltd since March 2012, serving at these two companies until 2022 and 2021 respectively. Having left Bacardi in 2009, David became a Non-executive member of the Board in June 2016.

She is still a Non-executive Director at Bacardi to this day. She is also currently a Non-executive Director at Domino's Pizza and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, having joined these companies in 2021 and 2017 respectively.

Outside of these roles, David was the Interim CEO at Clarks for eight months between July 2018 and February 2019. She is also the Chair at cinema chain Vue, having begun in January 2023. 

She was also the CEO of William Grant & Sons Limited, an international spirits company, from August 2009 to March 2016. During her tenure, she played a key role in the business growth trajectory, particularly in premium and luxury brands and leading the company's successful expansions.   

In February 2021, David joined Entain as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director. Now, just shy of three years later, she has been promoted to Interim CEO of the company.  

Her long and multi-industry professional history offers a wide range of insights, giving her a wide range of experiences to pull from in her new role.
