MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

With over a decade spent in the iGaming industry – with roles taking her across multiple continents along the way – Camilleri-Bland has acquired a wealth of insights and knowledge about the world of gambling.

Throughout her career, Camilleri-Bland’s positions have been broad and varied, though she has largely specialised in the territories of consultancy, customer service and management.

Across these positions, Camilleri-Bland has consistently proven herself, working her way up the ranks until being appointed as the COO of Glitnor Group in February 2024.

EMPLOYMENT

Camilleri-Bland’s career took off in 2002 where she worked as the Head of Operations for Volkswagen UK in Milton Keynes. She held this role for two years before moving on in July 2004.

Shortly after, Camilleri-Bland took on the role of Business Relationship Executive for HP, a position that she held for just shy of three years from October 2004 to August 2007.

Following on from this, Camilleri-Bland undertook a new role as the Director of Consulting for Merchants and Dimension Data in South Africa. In this position, she was responsible for ensuring the company provided effective solutions that met customer’s needs as well as managing the African consulting team. She held this role for just over three years from August 2007 to October 2010.

Next, Camilleri-Bland’s career took her back to the UK, working for Capita in London. There, she was employed by the company as a Managing Consultant and Senior Solution Architect, roles which saw her translating client requirements into bespoke solutions as well as managing fellow team members. She held this role from October 2010 to December 2012.

Shortly after this, Camilleri-Bland had a six-month stint as an Independent Consultant for MMC Consulting. She ended up being appointed as the Director of the company not long after; a role which she ultimately held for just shy of eight years.

In June 2013, just after her stint as an Independent Consultant, Camilleri-Bland relocated to Gibraltar and made her first foray into the world of gambling. She was hired by William Hill to operate as the Head of Service Delivery, a spot that she held for a year and a half.

Off the back of her strong performance, Camilleri-Bland was moved up to the role of Director of Customer Operations in October 2014. In this position, she was responsible for shaping, refining and delivering the customer service strategy for the company. In total, Camilleri-Bland was with William Hill for nearly four years before she moved on in March 2017.

The next step on Camilleri-Bland’s gaming journey saw her joining BVGroup – a company that she spent a lot of time with across a range of different roles. She first joined BVGroup in April 2017 as the Head of B2B Brands. Shortly after, however, she moved up to the position of COO for Mayfly Entertainment as well as the Managing Director of Monarch S (both companies being part of BVGroup).

These new roles saw her operating out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She held these positions for just shy of two years between July 2017 and April 2020.

Following on from this, Camilleri-Bland stepped into the roles of Managing Director for A2D as well as the Director for Operational Excellence – two other companies that were also part of BVGroup.

Finally, in October 2021 Camilleri-Bland was appointed as the Group Director of Compliance, a role that she held for two and a half years.

In February 2024, Camilleri-Bland stepped away from BVGroup after cumulatively spending just shy of seven years with the company.

Her departure from BVGroup saw Camilleri-Bland stepping into the role of COO for Glitnor Group. With regard to her appointment to this new position, Camilleri-Bland said: “Having spent over a decade-and-a-half in the iGaming industry working in various management, consultancy and customer service roles across multiple continents, I’m delighted to now be able to utilise my expertise on the B2C side of Glitnor Group.

“The team we have here is already amazing and I sincerely hope that the skills and industry know-how that I’ve accumulated over the past 15 years can add another dimension to that as we look to take things to a whole new level in 2024 and beyond.”
